The location was intersting and so was the experience. This was booked through G adventures. I dont believe that this place is up to standard for g adventures. On the g adventures website, the accommodation type for our excursion was described as "standard tourist class accommodation." It is more like basic accommodation. There was no hot water, not even in the showers and no air-conditioning, so pretty disappointed in g adventures for using this place. This place is more for people that want the experience of staying in the rainforest.
READ THIS OR SUFFER HOURS OF VENOM-INDUCED PAIN. Fantastic experience! My friends go here often but this was my first time. I enjoyed the canopy tour/zipline, but the white water rafting was more exciting. My friends who went horseback riding here say that the views are magnificent, but one's rear aches after the ride and the horses kick each other occasionally. The zipline consisted of nine lines, the last spanning over 1000 feet and crossing the river. BEWARE OF THE BULLET ANTS!!! As soon as you exit the zipline bus, be on your guard as to where you step and what trees you touch...scratch that, don't touch ANYTHING. I'm not trying to be dramatic. THE ANTS ARE EVERYWHERE. Look it up... bullet ants have the most painful sting of any insect, luckily it shouldn't kill you. Unless you're allergic and don't know it. By the way, I noticed one such ant on the pant leg of our instructor, who has been bitten before. So it can happen to anyone. That's all I have for you, and have fun. Absolutely amazing experience! Me and my fiancé started the day with a phenomenal canopy tour guided by Henry and Octavio. They were the best guides we had at any experience during our trip. Then we decided to do the white water rafting last minute. And had an awesome time with the guide there as well, I’m blanking on his name. But everyone was amazing. 10/10 recommend!!
Henry and Octavio were absolutely amazing zip line guides! From start to finish, they made our canopy tour fun, safe, and unforgettable. They kept the energy high, made us laugh, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. You can tell they love what they do and genuinely care about giving guests the best experience possible. We had such a blast flying through the trees with them—can’t recommend them enough!
I stayed here with a group. The place is amazing and perfect for all animal lovers as you are staying in the jungle. The tents are a bit outdated however clean. The food was great. Staff super friendly. The common area is perfect to relax and watch all the animals. I recommend doing the night walk.
